The Labour Minister D Nagender has stated today that there were no opponents to the Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy in the State Cabinet now. Dr Shankar rao was removed from the Ministry earlier and Dr D L Ravindra Reddy recently.
Speaking to the media here, Nagender said that Dr Ravinder Reddy was removed from the Cabinet as per the directions of the party High Command only. He added that in the Congress party, the Chief Ministers would not take decisions on their own.
The Minister said Yadava Reddy, MLC, has no stature to criticize the AICC General Secretary in charge of A P affairs Ghulam Nabi Azad. He further said that Sonia Gandhi, the Congress President, has always respected Telangana sentiment. He said that it was not proper for former Minister K Keshav Rao, who enjoyed all positions till now, to criticize Sonia Gandhi. (NSS)
