Danam says he was not against Telangana

Speaking to the media Nagender pointed out that there were lot of speculations and talk that the people residing in the city were opposed to bifurcation of the state. When reports circulated that Hyderabad might be made a union territory, I had pointed out that it tantamount to a separate state. Except making this point clear, I had never opposed the formation of a Telangana state, he added,

The Labour Minister further observed that leaders like Lagadapati Rajagopal were putting spokes in the foirmation of Telangana state. The sooner the Seemandhra leaders resign, the quicker Telangana state would be realized, he added.
