Minister Danam Nagender said that the late chief minister Dr. Y S Rajasekhara Reddy was their favourite leader and condemned leaders including minister Anam Ramanarayana Reddy for talking ill of the late leader.
Talking to the media here on Sunday, he said it was improper to make one minister a scapegoat for the collective decisions of the Cabinet. Expressing anguish that BC leader Mopidevi Venkata Ramana became a victim of such a situation, Danam said there was no need for the home minister Sabita Indra Reddy to resign. He also expressed view the that CBI’s charge-sheet was ultimately causing damage to the government and the party.
Danam also urged the Telangana MPs not to take hasty decisions like joining the TRS. He advised them to wait until the party president Sonia Gandhi resolved the Telangana issue.
