Dalith Mahasabha demands CBI probe into Laxmipet massacre

Andhra Pradesh Dalith Mahasabha has demanded the State Government to arrest the PCC Chief Botcha Sathyanarayana’s close relative Botcha Vasudeva Naidu, who, they alleged, had played a key role in the Laxmipet carnage.

Speaking to the media here on Wednesday, Dalit Mahasabha founder President Kathi Padmarao has demanded the Government to order a CBI inquiry into the Laxmipet incident and give the land pattas to the Daliths. He also demanded the Government to extend ex-gratia to the bereaved families and provide a job each to the affected families. He alleged that the upper caste people were creating carnages and violating the living rights of the daliths.

Balladeer Gadar has released a pamphlet on Dalit Udyama Porata Bheri to be held on July 17. Speaking on this occasion, Gadar has called up on the SC/ST MLAs to make it clear to the Centre that they will participate in the Presidential election only when the Centre assures to solve the SC/STs problems.
