Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao, have hit upon a new idea to empower Dalit entrepreneurs in the State, who is focusing on strengthening the party base in the State.
He is likely to come up with an announcement with this regard at the industrial expo going to held in February by DICCI (Dalit Indian Chamber of Commerce of Industry).
According to sources, KCR gets this idea after going through a book ‘Defying the Odds’ written by D Shaym Babu, Chandra Bhan Prasad, and Devesh Kapur.
The stories capture both the difficulty of Dalits and their circumstances as well as their strong commitment while bringing to light possibilities of entrepreneurship as a tool of social empowerment.
