Several dalit youths today took out a cycle rally from Bhavnagar to protest suspension of Leader of Opposition Shaktisinh Gohil for the entire budget session. According to Gujarat Congress spokesperson Dr Manish Doshi,
the cycle rally will reach the state capital tomorrow and the dalit activists will submit a memorandum to Governor Dr Kamala Beniwal and Assembly Speaker Ganpat Vasava, condemning the suspension of Mr Gohil.
Mr Gohil was suspended for the rest of the budget session from the assembly, a few weeks ago, for refusing
to tender apology for making allegations that the state government was hand-in-glove with some industrialists.
