New Delhi: Commenting on Narendra Modi’s remark on the Dadri incident, outspoken Samajwadi Party leader Azam Khan said that the Prime Minister was forced to respond in view of the damage it was doing to BJP’s electoral fortunes in Bihar.
“Dadri has harmed the nation’s feelings, the PM made a statement now when the entire world condemned it,” Khan said.
“Prime Minister is the badshaah of the country, he is accountable. He saw that Dadri, beef and the language of his leaders has caused a lot of damage, that’s why it is now the ghar wapsi of Narendra Modi…PM saw that his image has been tarred,” he added.
Khan also took a jibe on PM’s ‘shaitaan’ remark – apparently on Lalu Prasad Yadav – during a election rally in Bihar. “The way PM used the word “shaitaan” so lightly, one wonders what the world thinks about our PM.”
