Hyderabad, April 20: Dacoits struck a farm house on the outskirts of the city and decamped with four tola gold ornaments after injuring an employee in the wee hours of Tuesday. The incident took place in Saroor Bagh farm house owned by Hyderabad-based Rahat Khan.
According to Moinabad inspector G Sekhar Goud, the family of a worker, Mohd Raheem, resides in the farm house. Around 2.30 a.m, nearly four unidentified persons entered the servant quarters in the farm house while Raheem was watching television.
“The miscreants blindfolded Raheem, threatened him with a knife and stole four tola gold ornaments from an almirah,’’ Sekhar Goud said. “We suspect that some rivals of Raheem might have committed the crime. It might not be the work of a professional gang,’’ the inspector said adding investigation is on.
