Dacoits took away gold jewellery weighing 180 grams and some cash after raiding a house and beating up its inmates in the early hours of Thursday at Shamshabad Pedda Golconda village.
Over five men clad in shorts and covering faces with clothes started hitting the main door of Devender Goud’s house at pedda Golconda village of Shamshabad around 3 a.m.
Even before Goud and his family members woke up, the gang pushed open the doors and barged inside. They attacked Goud and tied his hands with a rope. They took him to the room where his wife and three daughters were sleeping.
Pointing knives at Goud, the gang collected the jewellery the four women wore and also some jewellery, and cash from the cupboard.Shamshabad Inspector Venu Gopal registered a case and began investigation. ACP Shamshabad Sudarshan Reddy said. (INN)
