D S Asks Seemaandhra Leaders to Cooperate in creation of T state

Hyderabad, August 16: The PCC president Mr D Srinivas has sought the co-operation of Seemandhra leaders for the creation of separate Telangana state, keeping away their emotions in a democratic manner.

After hoisting the national flag on the occasion of Independence Day celebrations at Gandhi Bhavan here on Sunday, Mr Srinivas has opined that it was good for the Telugu people to remain as brothers even after the State was bifurcated.

Without naming the Kadapa MP Mr Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy, he said that some sections of the party leaders should restrain from their acts and added that it was good for those who were crossing the party line to correct themselves. He advised the party leaders to move forward emulating the AICC general secretary Mr Rahul Gandhi.

The leaders have to fulfill their obligations as per the constitution, he said and added that he was ready to discuss with anybody even though they were small to him, to strengthen the party. He also advised the party leaders to air their problems on the party platform but not on open daises.

He said that the nation would be in troubles if the Congress party weakens and hence every activist has to work for the party and to strengthen the leadership of AICC president Ms Sonia Gandhi.

The Chief Minister Mr K Rosaiah, Legislative Counsel Chairman Mr Chakrapani, Party MPs Mr K Keshava Rao, Mr K V P Ramachandra Rao, V Hanumantha Rao and party activists were present.
