A gas cylinder exploded at Aziz Nagar Sanathnagar leaving 5 injured of whom 2 are in critical condition. Blast occurred when one Syed Mujeeb was changing the gas cylinder for cooking. Besides Syed Mujeeb his daughter Syeda Samreen (13), Syeda Manha (10) and Syeda Mairaj (8) elderly woman neighbour Kareema Bi (55) were injured. Hearing to the blast, neighbours came for help and informed police. Locals and Sanath Nagar police rushed the injured to the hospital where condition of two girls are said to be critical.
According to reliable sources Syed Mujeeb’s (35) condition is also critical he sustained 50 % burns. Syed Mujeeb, welder by occupation lives at Aziz Nagar, Weaker Section Colony along with 3 daughters and a son.
