One of the three persons who were injured in a cylinder blast in Katedhan on May 19, died of injuries on Saturday.
According to Mailardevpalli police, the deceased, Tahera Begum, 35, was injured in a cylinder blast at her residence in Budwel of Katedhan. Two more persons, Anitha and her three-and-a-half-year old son Vijay Kumar, too were injured in the same blast. They were admitted to the DRDO Apollo Hospital where Tahera Begum succumbed to the injuries.
The blast took place when Tahera Begum was refilling a small cylinder from a regular cylinder at her residence. Police had registered several cases against her husband Chand Pasha for carrying out an illegal gas refilling unit at his residence. (INN)
