As a part of effective policing, the Cyberabad Police in order to maintain public order and to infuse confidence in the minds of the law abiding citizens and also to prevent the Goonda, Land grabber/un-social element from acting in any manner prejudicial to the maintenance of public order, the Commissioner of Police, Cyberabad C.V. Anand has issued orders for detention of the notorious Goonda/Land Grabber of Hayathnagar PS, who has been acting as leader of the gang and habitually indulged in the dangerous and unlawful acts, such as Rape, Kidnapping, Extortion, impersonation, Cheating, Criminal trespass and damage to the property with criminal conspiracy and criminal intimidation, Land Grabbing etc., and thereby causing panic and a feeling of insecurity among the innocent general public living in the locality of Hayathnagar, Vanasthalipuram and Chaithanyapuri and posing serious threat and danger to the society. He created fear and spread terror, breaking peace and public tranquility, creating panic and insecurity in the minds of public. The orders have been served on the Goonda for his detention.
Rajesh is involved in six criminal cases in Cyberabad Commissionerate and he was in jail and facing trial. He has indulged in acts of goondasim, committed gruesome offences and thereby created fear in the minds of common members of the Public and thereby disturbing public order and tranquility in the area and by his violent activities caused a feeling of insecurity in the public. His acts have been prejudicial to the maintenance of public order. Further, his acts have been adversely effecting the maintenance of the public order and peace in the locality and none were coming forward to depose evidence against him and he is kept out of the society for a considerable period by detaining in the prison under this act, to prevent him to commit such offences, public order and confidence of public in the law cannot be restored.
Hence, Preventive Detention orders are invoked against him by Commissioner of Police, Cyberabad C.V. Anand, as a part of Preservation of peace and to maintain public order in the Cyberabad, a press note said. (NSS).
