Hyderabad: A “Cyber Stalker” identified as M. Raghavender of Chevella Mandal was arrested by Cyber Crime Police for posting obscene photographs and videos of a married woman of Shankerpally in R.R Dist in social media.
Police said they received a complaint on January 22 from a lady of Shankerpally village stating that she was using an FB account since a long time. She noticed that someone has uploaded her nude photographs and videos in her FBs without her knowledge and the person, who uploaded her photos and videos was blackmailing her.
The police plunged into action, collected evidence and nabbed M. Raghavender, 23, a Photographer of Narayanadasguda in Chevella Mandal of Ranga Reddy District. The accused admitted his guilt of uploading the photographs and videographs in the FB account of the complainant.
Earlier, as the husband of the victim warned the accused for his heinous acts, the accused bore grudge and posted obscene photos and videos of the victim in the victim’s facebook page with an intention to defame her. The accused was remanded to judicial custody on Monday.
