New Delhi, July 31: Stepping into the Commonwealth Games (CWG) mess, the Prime Minister Office (PMO) has asked Cabinet secretary to review the preparation of all ongoing projects of the mega event scheduled to start from October 3.
The PMO has asked Cabinet Secretary KM Chandrashekh to review why project deadlines are not being met with just over 60 days to go for the Commonwealth Games.
Meanwhile, The Cabinet Secretary has written to CWG organising committee and expressed concern over the delayed preparation.
He also expressed government’s concern over the mounting allegations of corruptions into the CWG projects.
Earlier, the Central Vigilance Committee (CVC) recomanded CBI probe into the alleged multi-crore scam in at least 15 CWG projects.
