Prakash Nanjappa who won silver medal in 10m Air Pistol shooting at the Commonwealth Games (CWG) 2014 in Glasgow was today welcomed at the Bangalore airport. Sharing his experience, Nanjappa said, “The support of my family and the people of Karnataka have helped me win this medal. They are supportive and nice people. My coach and the association also helped me. We had very positive competition. It was quit challenging. My right eye is my shooting eye. I am focusing on gold next.” Nanjappa won the medal on July 26 with a score of 198.2 points finishing at the second point behind Australia”s Daniel Repacholli topped the spot with a score of 199.5 points. Nanjappa shot a series of 97, 96, 95, 99, 97, 96 to top the qualification round with 580 points. (ANI)
