Curbs on plying of heavy vehicles in Cyberabad

Hyderabad, January 18: In view of the increase in traffic on the outskirts of the city, Cyberabad police have extended the restrictions on the plying of heavy goods vehicles like lorries, lorry trollies, tippers, concrete mixtures lorries and containers on the roads from Miyapur to Godrej, Godrej to Erragadda, Godrej to Ferozguda, Bahadurpally to Narsapur junction.

The plying of these vehicles would now be restricted between 8 am to 11 am and between 5 pm and 10:30 pm, Cyberabad Police Commissioner S Prabhakar Reddy said in a notification on Sunday.

The restrictions will be on the following roads: From Miyapur Junction to Ferozguda via Nizampet junction, JNTU junction, KPHB Colony outgate, Usha Mullapudi Cardiac Centre arch junction, Vivekanandanagar junction, Balaji Nagar junction, Naina Garden junction, Godrej junction, Prashanthnagar junction, IDL Balanagar, IDPL factory, Narsapur junction, Balanagar junction, Shobhana junction, BBR Hospital, BHE L R & D junction, and vice versa.

From Godrej junction to Erragadda junction via APSRTC bus depot, Kukatpally- Moosapet junction, Sanatnagar railway goods shed, Bharatnagar, and vice versa.

From Bahadurpally crossroad to Narsapur crossroad via APSRTC depot, Jeedimetla junction, APIIC Colony junction, Shapurnagar junction, Gajularamaram junction, Qutbullapur crossroad, Chintal junction, Ganeshnagar junction, Usha factory, and vice versa.

The restrictions will come into force from Monday.
