In the times when extravagance in marriage ceremonies has become an order of the day, and competition has left the families of bride debt-ridden, Curator of Nizam Museum Ahmed Ali has set an example of simple marriage.
Mr Ahmed Ali recently conducted the marriage of his daughter with just 81 guests. The Nikah was solemnized in the presence of only the close relatives. Valima was also held in a simple way. No other ceremonies were conducted besides these two.
Mr Ahmed Ali informed that he is the father of 12 daughters. He has already married off 9 daughters. Though all previous marriages were also conducted in a simple way but the latest one was ideal, in which he invited only 81 guests in the Nikah ceremony and he took along with him only 30 guests from his side to the Valima hosted by the groom’s family, though the latter had asked him to bring 300.
