Hyderabad: Culture plays an important role in promoting a sophisticated society. Hyderabad is a city which depicts ancient cultural values. Its civilization is famous throughout India. These thoughts were expressed by Jayesh Ranjan, Principal Secretary, IT, Industries and Commerce, Govt. of TS while addressing 28th Yudhvir Foundation Award Function. This award was given to Lamakan. He presented cash award of Re. 1 lakh to Mr. Ashar Farhan and other founders of Lamakan.
Mr. Zahid Ali Khan, Editor of Siasat Urdu Daily and Trustee of the Foundation gave the details of the organization. He also furnished the details of social and welfare activities of Mr. Yudhvir, Founder Editor of Milap.
He further said that Lamakan is a center for expressing free and frank views.
Mr. Ashar Farhan, founder of Lamakan thanked the Trustees of the Foundation and said that the money of the award would be distributed to the employees of Lamakan.
