Kolkata, November 15: The Calcutta Stock Exchange index declined sharply today on continued selling pressure.
The CSE-40 index was down 113.42 points to close the day.
The local bourse opened at 8,369.77 and during the day slipped to close at 8,256.35.
The business volume was Rs 4.86 crore from trading of 19 scrips.
Blueprint Securities was at Rs 307, ONGC finished at Rs 1,296 from a high at 1,298.75. Oasis Cine was marginally higher to finish the season at Rs 320.40.
Reliance Industries closed the day at Rs 1,046.95, State Bank of India fell to Rs 3,170 and Tata Steel finished at Rs 615.
