Kolkata, Dec 12: The Calcutta Stock Exchange (CSE) during the week lost 95 points failing to hold on to the bullish trend and witnessed selling pressure. Meanwhile, last week CSE-40 had registered a gain of 386.73 points.
The index opened at 7,265.71 points and in alternate bouts of fall and marginal recovery from its intra-week low of 7,149.36, closed at 7,170.36. The trading volume during the week stayed normal.
Blueprint was at Rs 303.85 at the end of the week, ONGC closed at Rs 1,190.10 and OMDC finished at Rs 25,250. Reliance Industries ended at Rs 1,074.95, SAIL at Rs 208.50, Twenty First Century at Rs 291.20 while, Vindus Holding closed the week at Rs 293.
