Kolkata, March 06: The Calcutta Stock Exchange (CSE) gained sharply during the week where all trading sessions gained ground. The benchmark index, CSE-40, rose 301.43 points in all the four trading sessions of the week.
The local bourse was higher by 130.92 points in the previous week. The index opened at 6,889.68 and ended the week at 7,191.11.
Business volume was moderate during the week. ACC was at Rs 973.50 at the end of the day.
Blueprint Securities was at Rs 305.80. Larsen & Toubro was at Rs 1607.10 to finish the week.
Reliance Industries gained to end at Rs 1008 to end the week. State Bank of India was higher at Rs 2050.
Vindus Holding was at Rs 293 at end of the week.
