Andhra Pradesh Chief Secretary Minnie Mathew today conducted the Special Task Force (STF) meeting and reviewed the progress of Hyderabad Metro Rail project (HMR).
Expressing happiness over the fast pace of metro rail works, she has appreciated HMR and other government organizations for taking advance action in widening the roads, covering open drains for smooth flow of traffic in metro rail construction areas.
Making a detailed presentation, HMR Mangaing Director N V S Reddy informed her that so far 85 piers (pillars), 182 foundations and 269 segments have been completed and that L&T will further increase the speed of construction after COP11 and monsoon.
Based on Mr Reddy’s detailed presentation, the Chief Secretary has given instructions/suggestions. She asked the GHMC Commissioner M T Krishna Babu to speed up acquisition of the affected properties. UNI
