With deadline fast nearing on May 15 on bifurcation, Chief Secretary PK Mohanty today held a high level review meeting in Secretariat. Sam Bob, Principal Secretary Roads and Buildings, Finance Secretary PV Ramesh and other officials participated in the meeting. It is learnt that the Chief Secretary directed them speed up works related to their departments and complete the process immediately. They are said to have discussed on allocation of blocks and blocks and main roads and gates to be separately maintained for Telangana State and AP State respectively. It may be noted that Governor ESL Narasimhan’s advisors Salauddin Ahmed and AN Roy and others have been actively involved in the bifurcation process. Since the Governor asked to wind up the process by May 15, the officials are taking special care on allocation of buildings, blocks and construction of another main gate. (NSS)
