State Chief Secretary Dr P K Mohanthy left for New Delhi on Wednesday.
According to sources, the Chief Secretary has been summoned by the Centre in connection with completion of formalities for bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh to carve out Telangana. He will participate in a series of meetings to be held by Union Home Ministry and other departments in the national capital. The Appointed Day of Telangana State is also likely to be announced in a day or two and the Centre would issue necessary instructions to the Chief Secretary to execute the bifurcation process by involving the departments concerned.
