Srinagar, November 27: A CRPF jawan committed suicide by shooting himself with his service rifle in Jammu and Kashmir’s Budgam district today, officials said.
Constable Ramesh of 43rd battalion was on guard duty at a picket outside Deputy Commissioner’s office in Budgam town, 16 km from here, when he shot himself dead, they said.
The motive behind the constable taking such an extreme step is not yet known, they added.
