K. Chandrasekhar Rao, Chief Minister of Telangana has said that crop loan waiver scheme promised by his government needs Cabinet nod. A decision on the related subject would be taken in a week’s time.
Mr. Rao, who goes through the issue with the officials concerned, directed the available Ministers to have a conversation about the scheme with him.
Finance Department officials are taking necessary steps to find a way out on the issue, officials told the Chief Minister.
Within a week’s time he Cabinet meeting will be held and it will take a decision regarding fulfilling the promises made in the election manifesto like loan waiver, pension and others.
But, the Finance Department will take a decision on the actual date of implementation.
