A 6 ft long crocodile got caught in fishermen’s net while they were fishing in a tank at Dodduru village in Krosuru mandal of the district today.
Divisional Forest Officer P Srinivas Rao said the fishermen informed the forest officials. The crocodile weighed about 55 KG. The villagers were surprised how a giant crocodile had slipped into the tank. The forest official suspect that the crocodile would have been carried away by flood waters and pushed into the tank. They were taking steps to release it safely in a river. UNI
