NEW DELHI: Using Croatia’s achivement, Indian cricketer Harbhajan Singh asks the people of India to stop fighting in the name of religion.
The spinner on Sunday took to his microblogging site Twitter and highlighted the issue of ‘conflicts between Hindu and Muslim communities in the country’.
He wrote, “Croatia a country with a population of nearly 50 lakh is play the final of Football World Cup while we in India, with a population of 135 crore people, are playing “Hindu Muslim”.

He also used a hashtag ‘soch badlo desh badlega (change your thinking, the country will change)’ to highlight the issue of ‘conflicts between Hindu and Muslim communities in the country’.
While some agree with him on on social media and other criticise him for his post.
Croatia, the lowest-ranked team to ever reach the final was appreciated for their performance in this world cup even though it could not win the FIFA World Cup 2018.
