Health Minister C Laxma Reddy told that the government is planning to provide better medical facilities in two government hospitals. Inaugurating free Heart Check up Camp at Jedcharla, Health Minister said that private and corporate hospitals are shifting critically ill patients to Osmania General Hospital and Gandhi Hospital of Hyderabad. Thus over 20 patients die in those hospitals daily.
Mentioning two hours power cut at Gandhi Hospital, the Health Minister said generators will be installed in the hospital and other facilities will also be provided. Health Minister said the government will provide 12 lakh per head for liver transplant under Arogyashree scheme.
