TDP president N. Chandrababu Naidu on Wednesday observed that a change in the mindset of the people would alone bring about change in the country.
Chandrababu Naidu hoisted national flag at NTR Trust Bhavan on the occasion of Independence Day. Speaking on the occasion, the TDP president said that the present issues in the State would not have arisen in the State, if there was effective government. “Bad should be viewed as Bad and Good should be viewed as Good”, he added.
Alleging that corruption was rampant in the State, he alleged that Kiran Kumar Reddy government stuck up neck-deep corruption. He also asked why Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy was not accepting the resignation of Roads & Buildings Minister Dharmana Prasada Rao.
He called upon the youths to join hands to curb corruption in the society. He also underlined the need to inculcate national sprit in the youth.
The TDP president said that his party was committed to the welfare of backward classes, which were deprived of social justice.
Naidu also launched 10,566 feet long national flag, which was prepared by Nizamabad native Balu, on the occasion.
