Mr. Shaik Mohammed Iqbal, IPS, Special Officer of APS Wakf Board sent an Investigation team consisting of Mr. Waheed Khan, Mr. Mohammed Hasan and Mr. Mohammed Amjad Khan to investigate the matter pertaining to illegal tenants of 15 Malgis belonging to Masjid Aiwan-e- Shahi, Warangal. The nexus between the members of wakf committee and the tenants is being investigated. It came to light that the tenants had leased out Malgis to sub tenants. A criminal case has been registered against the three illegal occupants.
As a consequence of the news published in Siasat Urdu Daily, Mr. Iqbal has been taking action against the illegal occupants of Wakf Properties under land grabbing act. He also warned that action will be taken against such land grabber by opening rowdy sheets against them.
