Hyderabad: Grand Snooker Parlour manager attacked by rowdy gang at Dabeerpura in Old City at midnight on Wednesday. Three assailants entered the parlour minutes before the manager was about to close the center and attacked him with knives and baseball bats indiscriminately.
Based on the CCTV footage, the assailants were identified as Messy, Amir and Haider who are rowdy-sheeters and had undergone jail term several times in the past.
When the players at the parlour tried to come to the rescue of Shabbir, the three attackers scared them away and stabbed and beat the manager. They chased him while he was running out of the center and stabbed him again before leaving the place.
Shabbir who received grievous stab injuries at four places is undergoing treatment at a hospital. His condition is stated to be out of danger. A manhunt is on for the attackers, police said.

Neither the victim nor anyone in the place had any clue as to what could be the reason for the attack. South Zone DCP Satyanarayana said the attackers were identified and will be nabbed very soon.
