Gambling den raided
(Siasat News): Jeedimetla police has raided a gambling den and arrested seven persons. Cash, cellphones and motorbikes were seized from their possession.

Police had come into action after a tip-off and raided a house situated at Gajwalaramaram. All seven persons were busy in gambling and the house was used as a gambling den.

A sum of Rs. 45,137, a car, three motorbikes and seven cellphones were seized. Further investigations are on.

Woman ends life

(Siasat News): A woman who was all alone after the death of her husband. The deceased Jayanthi, 45 who was a government employee, consumed pesticide to end her life.

This incident occurred in Panjagutta police limits. Jayanthi was the wife of one Varma of Anand Nagar in Khairtabad. She was a government employee but was very upset over the death of her husband.

Last night, she took the extreme step of ending her life. Police Panjagutta has registered a case and further investigations are on.

Woman burnt to death

(Siasat News): A woman burnt to death in Pahadi Shareef area. According to police sources, Rashida Begum, 30, was severely burnt in her house on May 1. She was admitted to the hospital where her treatment was continued.

However, last night she could not survive and succumbed to her burn injuries. The deceased was the wife of one Mirza Zafar Baig of Shaheen Nagar.

A case has been registered and further investigations are underway.

Two die in train accidents

(Siasat News): Two persons died in two different train accidents occurred in Nampally and Secunderabad railway police limits.

According to Nampally police one Krishna, 45, resident of Prem Nagar in Hafizpet, was a driver. Yesterday, he was crossing the railway tracks between Hafizpet and Lingampally railway stations when he was hit by a train.

Secunderabad police said that Gajanand, 28, a private employee and resident of Nanda Nagar. He was travelling in Parbhani passenger train when he accidentally fell down from the running train that proved fatal.

Railway police has registered both the cases and further investigations are in progress.
