Illegal sale of gutkha, four arrested
(Siasat News): The South Zone Team of Commissioner Task force has arrested four persons involved in illegal sale of gutkha and seized hundreds of Gotha packets from their possession.
The accused were involved in illegal sale of Gotha in the city. Task force has also raided their houses and business places and seized 40,000 Gotha packets and handed them over to Food safety officer of GHMC.
Fake police took away Rs. 3 lakh
(Siasat News): Another case of fake police involved in crimes came into lime light in Cyber bad where after diverting the attention of the victims, the accused stole Rs. Three and half lakh.
The posed as the real police and stopped the car of a trader Laxmi Narayana, 66, in the name of search and committed the crime.
Inspector Balanagar Mr. Sailu said that following the complaint of the trader, a manhunt is launched and with the CCTV footage the culprits would soon be arrested.
The victim is a resident of Erragadda and runs scrap business. The fake police said that as he did not stop his car at the checking point, the entire car would be checked.
In the meantime, by diverting his attention, the fake police stolen the money. Further investigations are on.
Suspicious case of suicide
(Siasat News): A man who was under the influence of alcohol, used acid to commit suicide. This incident occurred in Jubilee Hills Police limits where one Maruthi, 50, died in suspicious circumstances.
The deceased was the resident of Yusufguda. On May 25, he reached his house under the influence of alcohol as usual and ironically, used acid.
He was admitted to the hospital where he died during the treatment. Police is yet to ascertain whether he used acid knowingly or by mistake as he was not in his senses.
Further investigations are underway.
