Notorious shutter breaker arrested
(Siasat News): Gandhi Nagar police has arrested a notorious thief who used to break the shutters of the shops to commit the crime.
It is said that the accused Baswaraj alias Salim, 40, resident of Langar Houz and native of Narayanpet, Mahboobnagar, had broken the shutter of a shop situated at RP Road in Secunderabad and gained entry with his accomplices and stolen Rs. 4 lakh from the shop’s counter.
All the accused were leading a luxurious life as they were ‘getting’ enough money by breaking shutters of the shops.
The gang was involved in the thefts at Gandhi Nagar, Kachiguda, Chaderghat, Langar Houz and Shahinayatgunj police stations. Police also seized Rs. 1 lakh from their possession.
Two women commit suicide
(Siasat News): Two women committed suicide in two different incidents in Malkajgiri and Mushirabad. According to Malkajgiri police, the deceased Syeda Wajida, 26, was the wife of one Zaheeruddin of Mallepally.
It is said that she was in financial crisis and was not in position to cope with day-to-day expenses of the house. Yesterday, she had attempted suicide and was immediately shifted to a hospital where she died during the treatment.
Mushirabad police said that one Shivamma, 37, a private employee. She was also in trouble due to her domestic problems including finance and has attempted suicide. She was also shifted to a hospital where she died during the treatment late last night.
Police has registered both the cases and started the investigations.
Man dies in suspicious circumstances
(Siasat News): A man died in suspicious circumstances in Tappachabutra. It is said that the deceased Ramesh, 33, was an auto driver and has been living at Joshiwada. He was an alcoholic and used to fight with his wife under the influence of liquor.
However, yesterday, he was found dead in suspicious circumstances. Police found a bottle of sleeping pills near his dead body and it is presumed that overdose of the pills might have caused the death.
A case has been registered and further investigations are underway.
