Passenger held for travelling on fake visa
(Siasat News): The immigration staff at RGi airport arrested a man for travelling on fake visa and handed him over to Shamshabad RGI police.
As per the details, the passenger Lingaiah, 36, native of Karimanagar, was trying to board a flight for Dubai.
However, during immigration check, his visa was found as fake and he was immediately arrested and a case has been registered against him.
Man dies in train accident
(Siasat News): A man died in a train accident occurred in Secunderabad. According to railway police, the deceased Praveen, 28, was a labourer and has been living in R K Puram.
Today, when he was crossing the railway tracks, he was hit by a speeding train that knocked him down to death.
Railway police has registered a case.
Man electrocuted to death
(Siasat News): A man was electrocuted to death at General Bazar in Secunderabad. According to Mahankali police, the deceased Hafeez-ur-Rahman was a goldsmith and resident of General Bazar though he was the native of West Bengal.
Today, he accidentally came into contact with a live wire and died instantly. Police is investigating this case.
Husband ends life after row with wife
(Siasat News): A man, who had exchanged heated argument with his wife, ended his life. This incident occurred in Amberpet police limits where M Ram, 25, took the extreme step of ending his life.
He was a private employee and residing at Tulsi Nagar. However, he had the bad habit of drinking liquor and his drinking habit was always the cause of argument between husband and wife.
Yesterday, the same thing happened and Ram committed suicide. Police has registered a case and further investigations are underway.
Censor Board official caught red-handed
(Siasat News): A regional official of Central Board of Film Certification was caught in bribery case for demanding and accepting money to release a Telugu film with U certificate.
It is said that the official G Srinivas Rao was caught red-handed while accepting Rs. 10,000 from producer Prabhakar Reddy.
The superintendent of CBI police Mr. Chandrasekhar Rao said Srinivas had demanded Rs. 1,00,000 and accepting Rs. 10,000 as the first instalment of the said money when he was caught.
A case has been registered and further investigations are underway.
