Dhaba owner injured in rowdy sheeter’s attack
(Siasat News): A dhaba owner in Abids area late last night was attacked by a rowdy sheeter.
According to inspector Abids K Srinivas, the rowdy sheeter under Shahinayatgunj police station Akash Singh along with his two accomplices Azeem and Akbar Pasha attacked Manoj Kumar Sankhla with a knife who is the owner of Santosh Dhaba.
Inspector further said that Akash Singh was involved in many attempted murder in the past including a case involving the son of Santosh dhaba’s owner in 2014.
The owner is admitted in a corporate hospital. Police has registered a case and a manhunt is launched to nab Akash Singh and his accomplices.
Drug racket unearthed
(Siasat News): A big drug racket was unearthed in Cyberabad in an operation conducted Narcotics Control Bureau. Deputy Commissioner of Police, L B Nagar Zone Mr. Tafseer Iqbal said that approximately 1 kg heroin was seized and two persons were arrested.
A man Satyanarayana was receiving this haul from one Esu as the dealing was finalized near a super Market at L B Nagar when they were caught by cops. Esu was said to be waiter in military and hails from Vijayawada.
DCP further said that a big racket is working behind this dealing. Police is on the lookout to see whether the consignments are dispatched within the country or it is being imported.
The seized heroin is valued at Rs. 1 crore.
