Minor drowns during swimming
(Siasat News): An 8-year-old boy drowned in a pond during swimming.
Pahadi Shareef police said that that the deceased Mohd. Muneeb, resident of Dabeerpura, had gone to Jalpally for swimming and he had dived in a pond to enjoy the swimming.
However, as he could not judge the depth of the pond, his jump proved fatal for him. Police Pahadi Shareef has registered a case and further investigations are on.
Asstt. Engineer for accepting bribe
(Siasat News): According to the director of Anti-Corruption Bureau, an assistant engineer Syed Mohammed was caught red-handed when he was accepting a bribe of Rs. 16000 from the complainant to give permission for an extra transformer.
The bribed amount was recovered and the accused was produced before the ACB court.
SSC student dies in train accident
(Siasat News): A 14-year-old boy and the student of SSC was killed when he was hit by a train.
It is said that the accused Mohd. Taufique, resident of Rein Bazar, was crossing the railway tracks between Uppuguda and Yakutpura without realizing that a train fast approaching him.
Railway police Kachiguda has registered a case and further investigations are in progress.
Indebted man ends life
(Siasat News): A painter, who was heavily indebted, ended his life. It is said that the deceased G Venkateshwarulu, 30, resident of Shivganga Colony, L B Nagar was an alcoholic and gambler.
He was very upset since last so many days as he was heavily indebted and found no way to repay the money due to the constant demand from the money lenders to return their money.
A dejected Venkateshwarulu hanged himself to death in his house.
