Notorious Motorbike thief arrested
(Siasat News): The crime staff of Saeedabad police station have arrested a notorious motorbike thief and recovered five stolen vehicles from his possession.
It is said that G Sunil Kumar, 27, resident of Raja Rajeshwari colony of Saeedabad had stolen a parked motorbike from Sunitha Hospital, Champapet.
This crime was stored in CCTV. With the help of the footage, Saeedabad police has arrested the culprit from SBH colony, Saeedabad when he was passing from the area on a stolen motorbike.
When police further grilled him, he disclosed that he had stolen 5 bikes from Saeedabad area valued at Rs. 1,90,000. He was produced in the court and sent to jail from there
Team of frauds unearthed
(Siasat News): The west zone team of commissioner task force unearthed a gang of conmen who were trying to sell an ordinary conch as an antique.
It is said that G Hari Krishna, 30 along with his associates were trying to deceive the people by declaring an ordinary conch as an antique piece. The gang was arrested from Bolarum near Ayyappa Swamy temple.
They were trying to sell the fake silver conch in Rs. 3 crore. The fake conch was also recovered from their possession and handed them over to Bolarum police.
Police warning against forced collection of money on festival
(Siasat News): Hyderabad city police commissioner M Mahender Reddy warned the people against forced collection of money for ensuing Ganesh festival to be commenced from August 29 and to be immersed on September 8.
Stern action would be taken against the violators.
He said in his press note that to collect the money forcibly from the people is not going to send a positive message to our fellow countrymen that may disturb the peaceful and harmonious atmosphere of the city.
