Passenger arrested with gold
(Siasat News): The custom officials at RGI airport, arrested a passenger and seized 400 grams gold from his possession. The passenger, whose name is not disclosed, is a native of Hyderabad and reached here from Bangkok.
When the custom officials checked his luggage, he was found with 400 grams gold in his possession. He was immediately arrested and the gold was seized. Further investigations are on.
Two held for illegal manufacturing of Gutkha
(Siasat News): The Special Operation Team (SOT) of Cyberabad police arrested two persons involved in illegal manufacturing of gutkha.
It is said that the accused Ismail and Raju were illegally manufacturing gutkha in Kukatpally and attempting to shift the material to other places that was foiled by SOT.
The duo was arrested and large quantity of gutkha was seized from their possession. A case has been registered and further investigations are underway.
Brothel raided, four arrested
(Siasat News): Vanasthalipuram police has arrested four persons including two women in connection with running a brothel in residential area. All accused had hired a house at RTC colony in Vanasthalipuram and turned it into a brothel.
Police got a tip-off and raided the place and arrested two women pimps and two customers. A case was registered and the accused were produced in the court.
Another case of chain snatching
(Siasat News): Another incident of chain snatching took place in Vanasthalipuram where P Manjula, 38, was relieved of her gold chain. As per the details, Manjula is the resident of Secretariat colony.
She was going back to her house after meeting her relatives yesterday afternoon. Near Red Tank, two unknown persons on a motorbike appeared from nowhere and snatched 3 tolas gold chain from Manjula’s neck.
She raised an alarm but it was too late as the robbers had already fled the scene before she could gather a crowd. Vanasthalipuram police has registered a case and manhunt is launched to nab the culprits.
