Driver murdered in Afzalgunj

Hyderabad, January 9 (Siasat News): A car driver was brutally murdered in Afzalgunj and the dead body was thrown in Musi river.

As per the details, Mohd. Azhar 27, resident of Kamal Nagar, Chaderghat, went missing from his house since January 5 and today, his decomposed dead body was recovered from the river.

The dead body bore wound marks and with slit neck. Afzalgunj police has registered a case and further investigations are on.

Police sources said that Azhar was married but recently he developed illicit relations with another girl.

Over this, he was threatened by his brother-in-law Jahangir as he said that Azhar has deceived his sister.

Woman ends life in Pahadi Shareef

Hyderabad, January 9 (Siasat News): A woman who was harassed by her husband for more dowry, took the extreme step of suicide.

It is said that Noorjahan, 20, was married to one Sajid, an auto driver, just one year back. However, Sajid was a greedy man and had started demanding more dowry.

She was fed up of his harassment and on January 3, she poured kerosene on her body and set herself ablaze.

She sustained burn injuries and succumbed during the treatment. Police Pahadi Shareef has registered a case against Sajid and investigations are on.

Tension in Humayun Nagar

Hyderabad, January 9 (Siasat News): Communal tension spread in Humayun Nagar after the collision of two vehicles belonged to different communities.

According to sources, Omar bin Mahboob along with his friends Sayeed Khan and Saleem, passing from Masab Tank near 555 hotel.

Their bike collided with another bike coming from opposite direction and it belonged to one Deepak. This accident took an ugly communal turn and resulted into encounter between the two communities.

The people of the minority community staged a protest dharna opposite Humayun Nagar police station. Further investigations are on.

Accidental death of a mason

Hyderabad, January 9 (Siasat News): A mason who was busy working in a multi-storey building, died in a bizarre way.

During his work, a brick from another floor fell on his head. This accident took place in Raidurgam police station limits.

23-year-old mason Dasarath, resident of Chintalpuri colony, was severely injured and when a heavy brick fell on his head.

He was shifted to Osmania hospital profusely bleeding. Today, he died during the treatment.
