Three held for possessing fake currency notes
(Siasat News): Task force police have arrested three persons hailing from Karnataka for circulating fake currency notes in the city and seized ‘big amount’ from their possession.
As per the details, Mohd. Tajuddin, 30, said to be the kingpin of the gang, took Rs. 92,500 from his associate Mohd. Alauddin of Gulbarga three days ago and promised to give him Rs.30, 000 in real currency in lieu of the fake notes.
He then, with the help of his two other associates Mohd. Hussain and Mohd. Osman brought the money to the city.
As per their plan, they were waiting at Begumpet railway station for a customer.
However, in the meantime, the Task force police got the information about their intention to sell the fake currency and sleuths immediately reached the spot and arrested all three of them and recovered fake currency.
For further action, they were handed over to Panjagutta police station.
Man dies in road accident
(Siasat News): A car hit a pedestrian in L B Nagar that proved fatal for him.
According to police, the deceased D Anjeyelu had come to the house of his daughter at Chandrapuri colony in L B Nagar.
He was going to the bus stop to get a bus for his return journey; an unknown speeding car hit him.
Anjeyelu was severely injured and was shifted to the hospital where he died during the treatment.
Bank robbery foiled
(Siasat News): An attempt to rob a bank at dist. Palmakol in Shamshabad, was foiled.
According to the details, the robbers gained entry in Farmers service co-operative society bank by breaking the windows with gas welding equipment.
They also cut the wires of the CCTV cameras installed in the bank. Later, they tried to break the bank lockers but failed.
Frustrated over this, they tried to break other almirahs but could not get anything in the form of either cash, jewellery or important documents.
Next morning, when the people in the locality found the windows of the bank broken, they informed Shamshabad police that reached there with clues team.
A case has been registered and police have launched a manhunt for the culprits.
