Brother-sister duo murdered in Banjara Hills
(Siasat News): A man brutally killed his keep and her brother in Banjara Hills and later surrendered before the police. This incident exactly occurred at L N Nagar of Yousufguda.
Inspector Banjara Hills Mr. Sudarshan said that Sheikh Mastan had killed Nandi Prabhavathi and her brother Kiran Kumar.
He had reached the house of Prabhavathi angrily and first of all attacked the mother of Prabhavathi who was a thorn in the flesh as far as the illicit relation of Mastan with Prabhavathi was concerned.
He did not spare Prabhavathi and her sister and attacked them, which proved fatal. Their mother was severely injured and was shifted to hospital.
According to reliable sources, sheikh Mastan had illicit relations with Prabhavathi since last one year. Both of them hailed from Kundkur of Prakasham district.
After separation from her husband, Prabhvathi had shifted to Hyderabad and has been living in Yousufguda along with her mother, brother and 8-year-old son Charan. A chance meeting between them led to friendship that turned into illicit relations.
However, Prabhavathi’s mother Koteshwaramma was the biggest hindrance. Moreover, even Prabhavathi had distanced herself from Mastan as she had developed friendship with another man.
This enraged Mastan and he reached the house of Prabhavathi and killed her and her brother. When Prabhavathi’s mother tried to stop him, Mastan also attacked her and got her injured.
Both Prabhavathi and Kiran Kumar died. Sub-inspector Syed Naeemullah said that after panchnama and the post mortem, the dead bodies were handed over to the relatives. Further investigations are on.
Alcoholic woman commit suicide
(Siasat News): A woman under the influence of alcohol, committed suicide. This incident occurred in Saifabad police station limits where one Latha, 35, resident of Chintal Basthi, Khairatabad, had set herself ablaze and died in the hospital during the treatment.
Latha was an alcoholic and whenever she had no money, she used to beg for liquor. However, she took the extreme step when she was in high spirits.
The motive behind the suicide is yet to be ascertained. Police has registered a case.
