Man held for traveling on fake passport

Hyderabad, February 8 (Siasat News): The immigration officials of Rajiv Gandhi International airport have arrested a man who was traveling on fake passport and handed him over to Shamshabad RGI police.

According to the details, Md. Sajid Ali Khan, 30, native of Kerala, was a tailor and had gone to Saudi Arabia in 2005. However, his relations got soured with his employer, as he was not getting his salary regularly.

Sajid wanted to come back to India and asked for his passport. The employer, strangely, asked him to pay 10,000 riyals to do so. When he failed to get his passport, he contacted an agent.

The agent gave him the passport of another person and pasted Sajid’s photo. He came to Hyderabad with the same passport where immigration staff immediately realized the fakeness of the passport. He was arrested and handed over to RGI police.

Drunkard husband set wife ablaze

Hyderabad, February 8 (Siasat News): In a common incident where the death of the wives are taking place with regular intervals, in one more such incident, a husband, enraged when not given money for liquor by his wife, set her ablaze. This incident took place in Ranga Reddy’s Dharoor police station limits.

Sandhya, 20, was killed by her husband Krishna. He was living in Dharoor with Sandhya and had developed the bad habit of boozing. As if this was not enough, he used to fight with her and torture her under the influence of alcohol.

On January 31, he demanded money from her for liquor but Sandhya refused to give any money. Enraged over this, Krishna poured kerosene on Sandhya’s body and set her ablaze.

She sustained 90% burns and died in Osmania hospital during the treatment. Police has registered a murder case and further investigations are on.

Son commits suicide over father’s ill health

Hyderabad, February 8 (Siasat News): A son, who was very upset over the ill health of his father, took the extreme step of suicide.

This incident occurred in Uppal police station limits. D Gopal, 35, has been working in a company as safety engineer but very much concerned about the ill health of his father Shanker Rao whose treatment was going on in a hospital.

When he found no improvement in his father’s health, he committed suicide by hanging. The deceased was the resident of Dharmapuri colony.

Police has registered a case and investigations are on.

Mumbai citizen held with 9-kilo saffron

Hyderabad, February 8 (Siasat News): The custom officials at RGI airport arrested a man and recovered 9 kilos saffrom from his possession.

According to the details, one Abbas Abdullah, 47, reached the embarked from an Air Arabia flight. When his luggage was searched, 9 kilos saffron worth Rs. 9 lakh and 2 kg yellow additive worth Rs. 7 lakh were recovered.

When further searched, custom officials also seized another passport which had the photograph of Abbas but the passport was in the name of Krishnan Vardarajan, native of Tamil Nadu. He was arrested and shifted to custom office, Hyderabad.

Failed love affair led to suicide

Hyderabad, February 8 (Siasat News): A failed lover took the extreme step of ending his life in the suburban area of Alwal.

This incident occurred in Indira Nagar, Kalojiguda. According to police sources, C H Ramesh, 25, an electrician by profession, was in love with a girl from Nalgonda.

However, when the girl did not reciprocate positively, Ramesh was upset and took the extreme step of committing suicide by hanging.

Police Alwal has registered a case and further investigations are on.
