Dead body of missing minor girl found
(Siasat News): Police has recovered the dead body of a missing minor girl of Champapet from Talabkutta. Not only this, police Saroornagar has come into the action and arrested the killer duo.
As per the details, 4-year-old Ramya Sri went missing on June 1 as she was kidnapped. Police has arrested the neighbours of the deceased Laxmi and her husband Suresh in connection with the kidnap and murder.
ACP Saroornagar Amrinder Reddy has produced the killer duo in a press conference. He said that as per the details, the neighbour of the deceased Laxmi had called the minor girl to her house and had removed her gold earrings.
However, Ramya had threatened Laxmi that she would tell her mother about this. Frightened over this, Laxmi again called Ramya to her house on the pretext of giving her some biscuits and strangulated her to death.
The husband-wife duo later hid the dead body in a graveyard. As police had kept an eye on the activities of Laxmi, both of them were arrested from Dilsukhnagar while trying to sell the gold ornaments.
During the grilling, both of them confessed the crime. Earlier, when the news of the recovery of the dead body spread, the relatives of the deceased assembled at Saroornagar police station and staged a protest demanding the early arrest of the culprits.
Suspicious death of suspended cop
(Siasat News): A 55-year-old suspended police sub-inspector N Laxmi Narayan, a resident of Gauthamnagar, died under suspicious circumstances at Miyapur.
After his suspension, he had been working as safety officer at Lanco Hills. Further investigations are on.
