Rape attempt foiled
(Siasat News): An auto driver attempted to rape a minor girl but was failed to do so.
As per the details, the 8-year-old Muslim orphan girl, resident of Kurmaguda, Saeedabad. She was abducted by an auto driver and was forced to consume ‘sendhi’. Later, he brought the girl to Khaja Baug and there he tried to rape her.
Eyewitnesses said that after hearing the screams of the girl from nearby bushes, they tried to trace her. By that time, auto driver had fled the scene.
In the meantime, the unconscious girl was shifted to Niloufer hospital by police where doctors examined her.
This incident sent shock news in Khaja Baug where irate mob staged a demonstration and demanded early action against the driver. A case has been registered and further investigations are on.
Police employee drowns during swimming
(Siasat News): A police employee drowned in a pond during swimming. The deceased Shamprasad, 26, had reached Domaiguda for swimming along with his associates, as the pond of Rampally Suryanarayana cheru is very famous for swimming but Shamprasad drowned.
Police has fished out the dead body last night. A case has been registered and further investigations are on.
Sunstroke kills one
(Siasat News): A man died as he could not bear the extreme heat and had suffered sunstroke in Kachiguda.
According to police, P Shankar, 35, resident of Chappal Bazar, died of extreme heat as he had suffered a sunstroke.
Shankar was abandoned by his family members and he used to roam on the roads. Police has registered a case and further investigations are in progress.
Wife commits suicide over husband’s harassment
(Siasat News): A woman who was fed up of the harassment and domestic violence by her husband, took the extreme step of ending her life.
This incident occurred in Asifnagar police station limits where Bhagyalaxmi, 27 took the extreme step on April 21. She was the wife of one Raju of Ravindernagar.
He was an alcoholic and used to beat his wife after reaching home in an inebriated condition every day.
Bhagyalaxmi had gone to her parent’s house but Raju had somehow, brought her back. However, he did not change his habits and this led Bhagyalaxmi to take the extreme step.
Police is further investigating.
