Man held with 14 fake passports
(Siasat News):The police have arrested a person for possessing four fake passports. It is said that Mohd. Omar Khan was arrested for cheating.
He had visited Riyadh in 2002 and stayed there till 2006 working as an ambulance technician. In 2007, he obtained another fake passport under the name ‘Syed Ummer Ali’ and visited Riyadh.
Later, he managed to obtain a third passport in the name ‘Mohd. Ummer Khan.’ In 2009, he obtained his fourth passport from the Indian embassy in Riyadh. Further investigations are on.
Bomb scare at Gandhi Hospital
(Siasat News): An abandoned bag at Gandhi General Hospital created a scare at Gandhi Hospital. Patients who noticed the bag alerted hospital security staff.
The staff informed cops who rushed to the spot along with the sniffer dogs and bomb disposal team. However, they only found some garments in the bag.
Nevertheless cops searched every nook and corner of the hospital.
Student hangs self
(Siasat News): A student of Intermediate I Year committed suicide in Saroor Nagar police station limits. 16-year-old Sai Kumar from Indole Mandal, dist. Medak, was the student of Ideal college. It is said that the college management had denied hall ticket to him for the ongoing intermediate exams. He was very upset over this and reached his house to take the extreme step. Police has registered a case and further investigations are on.
Realtor murdered
(Siasat News): A realtor was brutally murdered by unidentified persons in broad day light in Hayathnagar police station limits.
Police said that the deceased Venkat Reddy was attacked by some unidentified persons at Abdullahpurmet in Hayathnagar with sharp weapons killing him instantly.
Police has registered a case and further investigations are in progress.
Fake currency: four held
(Siasat News): Police Kalepatthar has unearthed a fake currency gang and arrested the kingpin who is the reporter of a local TV channel.
According to reliable sources, the team of Kalepathar police has arrested four persons after the clash between two groups.
When they were grilled, it was disclosed that the fake currency is in circulation in the city.
The arrested persons are Amjad, Hassan, Rehan and Babbu Khan and seized Rs. 35000 in fake currency.
