Fake currency gang unearthed
(Siasat News): The North zone team of commissioner task force has unearthed a gang involved in making fake currency notes and recovered Rs. 6.5 lakh comprised of fake notes.
It is said that Prabhuchari, native of Medak, along with his two associates Chand Pasha and Raju, used to make fake currency with the help of a colour printer.
Police said that due to financial crunch, the gang was involved in fake currency business to make easy money. They had bought a colour printer and paper cutter from Secunderabad and started printing the notes in Rs.100, 500 and 100 denominations.
Chand Pasha had successfully circulated the 100 rupee notes in the market and was trying to circulate more notes. On a tip off, police arrested them from Secunderabad, near a theatre and recovered fake notes in plenty.
The gang members were handed over to the concerned police station.
Man flees after killing wife
(Siasat News): A husband brutally killed his wife, packed the dead body in a bag and fled. According to the details, one Saleem, 25 alias Ramesh, native of Assam and Kavitha, 35, said to be his wife, have been living at Hydernagar in Jeedimetla.
Saleem was working in fast food center. His employer had provided him a room near the center. Jeedimetla police said that Saleem had returned home with Kavitha after a watching a film on November 2.
He committed the crime on the same night and packed the dead body in a bag. To avoid any suspicion on him by his employer, he worked for two more days even after the murder.
However, when he remained absent for another two days without any information, the employer sent another employee to enquire. However, instead of finding Saleem, the dead body was found.
His employer tried to contact Saleem on phone but he became traceless. Jeedimetla police has registered a murder case and the dead body was shifted to Gandhi Hospital for post mortem. Further investigations are on.
Dead body found in a lodge
(Siasat News): Police has found a dead body from a lodge situated in Saifabad. As per the details, one N D Ramana Rao, 48, native of Patna, had come to Hyderabad on November 1.
He was one of the responsible members of the Panchayat in Patna and had checked in a lodge in Saifabad and was staying in room No. 604.
On getting the information, police has shifted the dead body to the mortuary after panchnama. It is suspected that the deceased might have died by heart attack.
Police has registered a case and further investigations are in progress.
Custom Officers held
(Siasat News): The sleuths of CBI in a surprise raid on the cargo section of Rajiv Gandhi International airport at Shamshabad, arrested two custom officials.
The CBI team belonged to Hyderabad Region. The sleuths seized some materials and grilling of the officers is going on.
