Woman fruit seller murdered
(Siasat News): Some unidentified miscreants killed a woman fruit seller in Kanchan Bagh police limits.
As per the details, the deceased T Yallamma, 40, native of Mahboobnagar, had migrated to Hyderabad in search of livelihood few years back.
She was living in Balapur and selling the fruits near Balapur chowrastha. She has a daughter and son-in-law who are staying at Meerpet.
On January 4, Yallamma had left the house for some business purpose but did not return home. Her daughter lodged a complaint in Meerpet police station.
However, in the meantime, the people in the locality of Defence Colony, Balapur, found a dead body in the bushes and informed the police. Police along with clues team reached the spot and the dead body was identified as that of Yallamma.
In its preliminary investigations, police said that Yallamma was strangulated to death and later her head was crushed with a heavy boulder.
The post mortem was done at the Osmania Hospital and later the dead body was handed over to the relatives. Police suspect that this might be the case of illicit relations that resulted in the murder.
Further investigations are on.
Students affected by food poison
(Siasat News): The students of a government school affected after having their food.
As per the details, the people of the locality of Banjara Nagar in Malakpet had distributed food to the students of Government Primary School.
However, after consumption of the food, students complaint about the uneasiness and started vomiting. Over this, they were shifted to the Malakpet area hospital.
The headmaster of the school said that 15 students are affected due to the food poisoning and they are taken to Niloufer Hospital for better treatment.
The parents of the students urged that an investigation of the incident should be conducted to ensure that such cases never recur.
Man dies in road accident
(Siasat News): A 35-year-old man was hit by an unidentified speeding car near Begumpet.
Late last night, the deceased was crossing the road presuming that the traffic flow would be lesser.
However, due to this lessened traffic flow, the car driver might have taken the liberty of driving the vehicle speedily without realizing that people still cross the road when it is almost ‘empty’.
The deceased was identified as Narsimha, resident of Begumpet Huts. A case has been registered and further investigations are underway.
Woman hanged self
(Siasat News): A married woman hanged herself to death at PJR Nagar in Banjara Hills.
The deceased Parvathi, 30, was the wife of one Nageshwar Rao. She took the extreme step of ending her life at her in-laws house.
Her husband was the first person to notice the dead body hanging from the ceiling. He immediately called the police.
Banajara Hills police immediately reached the spot and the dead body was shifted to the government hospital for post mortem.
A case of suspicious death is registered and further investigations are in progress.
